CGI education offers an in-depth understanding of the therapeutic process. There are two primary trends that permeate the philosophy and the course content presented throughout the curriculum. First, psychodynamic theory and clinical application to psychotherapy are the framework of the curriculum. Second, students are familiarized with clinical literature and research, including an understanding of process outcomes. The results of this synergy weaves the fibers of psychological theory and practice with a solid understanding of clinical research.
