Interning at the CGI Counseling Centers

The Institute operates one of the largest Counseling Centers in California, with locations in Westwood and Irvine. The Counseling Center offers the community the latest in clinical skills and professionalism while providing psychotherapy and counseling services that are affordable and accessible. Interns are supervised by a licensed and experienced staff of clinical psychologists, marital and family therapists, psychoanalysts, and psychiatrists.

The Center's training philosophy is consistent with CGI's focus on clinical education within a multidisciplinary framework. Interns receive experience in every aspect of practice to prepare them for successful careers in the psychotherapy profession. All CGI students are encouraged to pursue internship opportunities with the CGI Counseling Center.
